October Craft 2017: Sun Catcher Pumpkin Patch

Halloween is nearly here. If you are looking for a fun and easy craft to do in your classroom, you’ve come to the right place. Our Sun Catcher Pumpkin Patch craft can be done as an individual craft, or as a class-wide activity. To make this a class activity, have students each make their own pumpkin that are then all connected to form a large patch for your window. If you want to keep this as an individual craft, simply follow the directions as written.

Here’s what you’ll need.

Materials:

Orange and Brown Construction Paper
Yellow Tissue Paper
Scissors
Tape
Pencil

You can find the full instructions by clicking HERE.

This craft allows students to get creative with the type of pumpkin they create. They catch the sun perfectly to give pumpkins that glowing effect either in the sunlight or due to artificial lights.

We hope you enjoy this month’s craft. Next month check back for a Thanksgiving activity!
